I am developing a new found fondness for painting! I never considered myself to be an artistic person, but this is actually very therapeutic! One project finished, now on to the next!

Thanks to everyone who came to the book sale! I have met some interesting people, with new friends and more stories to share...
The rain held off most of the day (thanks to Jan for helping and talking me into setting up despite the forecast!)... and reinforcements showed up just in time (thank you @Joseph Gillam , Alex, and Adam for showing up to help!) and we were packed up with all books safe from the rain by 2:57p! Rain hit about 10 minutes later... Still plenty of great books left! Special thanks to Bill, the soldier who just returned from Iraq/Afghanistan, and gave me a book to add to the sale! Bill wouldn't take any money for it, or trade... he understands I'm in business... he said one thing they don't get in Iraq is home made chocolate chip cookies! I didn't sell the book, Bill, I passed it on to someone who would truly appreciate it, and the story behind it! Thanks for your service to our country, Bill. I hope you enjoyed the cookies! -m. I have much to sell, so I am going to try to break it up into a series of mini-sales... The first of the series is a multi-estate book sale!
